Mercure Glasgow City Hotel

I had lovely food for breakfast with nice fresh food.

Good hot and gorgeous breakfast with nice fresh food and chips and a very friendly chef for every taste. Fast check-in and great-sized and well heated room with £20 extra, a fan, bath. Stunning, amazing...  

The rooms where cool and spotless, where clothes were kept. Everything here was very good. The location of the hotel was stunning - at a medium distance from Victorias. Plus it was in a good area.

It has magnificent location to see a Blythswood square.

Overall the room was neat with medium sized suitcases, bedroom, for example.

A well located hotel, just a short walk from the Gallery of Mdern Art, supermarkets, train station and St. Enoch station. You have all the tourist and shopping areas nearby, shopping centres and...  

Location was excellent and spotless room. Wide selection of breakfast items and fantastic service staff who could not do enough for you.

Lifts are small and only two for such a large hotel

The hotel staff were amazing. Everytime we came in or left the hotel they greeted us with a smile and a hello. They always jumped at answer any questions we had and went out of their way to help us where possible. One...  

The hotel was in a very central location within Glasgow that was within short walking distance to shops,bars and restaurants. The staff were very helpful and the rooms very good maybe a bit small but otherwise okay....  

The hotel staff were all very friendly, dining room staff made everyone very welcome at breakfast time and could not do more to help.

We booked this hotel in preference to our usual Holiday Express Theatreland because there would be no parking charges, both hotels were the same overnight accommodation cost. However when we booked out at reception in the morning we were charged £6.00 for the overnight parking, this was not mentioned when we booked the room.

Location very good for the city centre and merchant city

Rooms are very 'compact'

The location was good as being close to all the amenities.

The room was too small for the price paid and very grubby. The bathroom was below standard. This hotel needs a serious refurbishment!

Excellent place with great wi-fi, 24-hour reception, and a cozy bar. The staff's restaurant recommendations on my first stay were nice. I highly recommend enjoying breakfast here!

I stayed in a Classic Double Room for one night. The staff were very great. The room was quite small, and I experienced some noise disturbances from the street outside, which affected my sleep somewhat. It's suitable for short stays where you're out exploring most of the day.

Staff were very helpful and the bed was very comfortable.

The room service food was poor and the charges high.
